NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN MOVEMENT HONOURS RUKAYAT SHITTU, AS BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION PRESENT GIFT

As the convergence 4.0 of the Yiaga Africa and the NotTooYoungToRun Movement commences today in the ancient city of Kano, the Executive Director of Yiaga Africa, Samson Itodo has recognized the Youngest All Progressives Congress Candidate from Kwara State, Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu for her versatility at the program.

Samson Itodo announced at the program that the book titled “Beating The Odds” in which the stories and experiences of young leaders changing the face of politics in Nigeria are featured will be presented to the 26 year old journalist turned politician.

The book gift was presented to Rukayat Shittu by the Development Director, British High Commission, Dr. Christopher Pycroft, who commended her for her courage and proactiveness.

Rukayat Shittu, who is contesting the Owode Onire Constituency seat at the Kwara State House of Assembly joined other candidates from twenty Northern states in Nigeria for the convergence 4.0 held in Kano State.
