RUKAYAT SHITTU, HER TEAM PITCH LONG TERM VISION FOR NIGERIA _plans to conquer the world

As the National visioning retreat of the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund continues with the hashtag #TheNigeriaWeWant, the All Progressives Congress of Owode Onire state constituency, Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu and her team at the fellowship pitched a long-term vision for Nigeria.

In their pitch, the group named, Big 7 pictured how they want Nigeria to look in 2050.

The group said in 2050, Nigeria’s governance and economy are now stable and take its place as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. Nigeria’s technological infrastructure advancement is now a force to reckon with in different spheres of human endeavour.
 
The health and education systems are driven by artificial intelligence and is accessible to all. The entire government system is now all fully digitized and embedded with transparent political and legal processes.

The group noted that active Civic participation, accountable governance, patriotism/Pursuit of National Aspiration, Diversified Government Revenue, Technological Innovation & Advancement, and Food Security among others are the push factors.

In 2050, the group pictured that Nigeria becomes the largest first to innovate solar-powered airplanes, setting a global record.

Nigerians take remarkable steps at electing competent and passionate youths to represent the people, Massive education reforms in Nigeria, Nigeria’s ease of doing business index becomes the best in Africa, Technologically driven agricultural practices contribute 45% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Nigeria entertainment industry becomes the biggest in the world and others are among remarkable achievements that have happened in Nigeria before 2050
