The Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate for New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Hon. Aiyelabegan Kayode Goga has expressed sadness over the death of the Leader of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Magaji Olawoyin.
Olwaoyin who until his death represented the Ilorin Central constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly was a cerebral lawmaker whose legislative prowess sustained the honour of the tenets of legislature.
Goga in the condolence message described the deceased lawmaker as a childhood friend and bosom classmate who lived to translate to reality the potentials he exhibited in their days at Government Secondary School, Ilorin.
" I received with rude shock the news of the demise of my friend and fine lawmaker, Hon. Mogaji Olawoyin who died early this morning. He will be sorely missed for his commitment to progressive ideals as evident in the various impactful legislations he had advanced at the State Assembly "
" He was no doubt a grassroots politician who was well in touch with the pressing priorities of his people and submitted himself to the task of elevating their well-being through the legislature "
" I commiserate with the members of his immediate and extended family and urge them to take solace in the merits of his exemplary life "
