KW UTD TO PARTICIPATE AT NAIJA SUPER 8

Kwara united Fc have been officially invited to participate in the inaugural edition of the 2023 Naija Super 8 organized by Flykite Productions

The tournament is licensed by The Nigeria Football Federation and will feature top clubs from across the country.

Naija Super 8 is a two-stage tournament. The first, zonal playoffs, will be held from 1-3rd June 2023 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo. The second, the finals, will be held from 17-25th June 2023 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos.

The competition is conceived to ensure that each of the country's six geopolitical zones is represented at both stages of the tournament. To this end, it will witness a novel approach of fan involvement, 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 to be managed by an internationally-reputed audit firm. Naija Super 8 voting platforms will be LIVE from April 10 to May 10 2023.

Two clubs with the highest vote tallies from each geopolitical zones will be eligible for a single-game elimination contest to determine the zonal representatives at the finals.

The winner of the single-match zonal elimination contest will join the other zonal winners and two wild cards teams to be selected by the organizers for the finals in Lagos.

The finals will be broadcast LIVE on SuperSport 

It will be played on tournament format basis, which will see qualified teams split into two groups of four teams, with each playing three games. Two teams with the highest point tallies from a group will go into the semifinals to play opponents with similar records in the other group for a place in the final to determine the tournament winner. 

We are counting on all united fans to help us get into the tournament as there will be provisions and reservations for at least one hundred fans 💯. Accomodations, Feeding, and Transportation will be sorted.
