Kwara United fullback Oginni Olatunbosun recognises they cannot afford to drop points after Monday’s defeat at Akwa United.
The loss meant that Kwara United are 8th on the table with just three points separating them from 9th placed Nasarawa United who are currently in the relegation zone of group A, with three games left to play this season.
Ogini said in his statement to our currespondent. “The next two to three weeks will be very much decisive but for us every game feels like a final now to be honest.
“That’s why it was very important to get the victory against Plateau United on Sunday. You can’t drop points otherwise it will be punished.
“It was really frustrating to drop all three points at Akwa United but we’ve quickly pushed that aside and are now focused on the future and safety of the club in the league. We know now every game is going to be decisive, every game is going to feel like a final. The three points against Plateau United will prove very important.
