The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), youth wing, has expressed optimism that the reign of the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will bring peace and development to Nigeria
The CAN youth wing, while congratulating the President-elect on his victory at the presidential election, urged Tinubu to hit the ground running by fulfilling his promises on restructuring and true federalism for the rapid development of the country.
Belusochukwu Enwere, the national chairman of the body, opined that Tinubu’s presidency would disappoint naysayers and bring peace to the entire Nigerians.
According to him, “I write on behalf of myself and the entire Christian Youth in Nigeria to congratulate you on your resounding victory, well deserved and overlong success at the just concluded presidential election.”
He believed that with Tinubu’s varied experience and leadership acumen, he would easily fulfill all his campaign promises and make Nigerians forget their past experiences
He stressed that Tinubu has been an apostle of restructuring Nigeria and entrenchment of true federalism in line with global best practices, appealing that he should kindly hit the ground running by fulfilling the promise to meet the yearnings of the people.
Belusochukwu urged the President-elect to use the opportunity to develop and unite Nigeria irrespective of religion, ethnicity and tribe.
