Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has insisted he will continue in his role, no matter the conclusion of an investigation into the club’s alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules
Guardiola however called for a quick resolution of the matter.
City had their case referred to an independent commission in February after being charged with over 100 breaches of financial rules between 2009/2010 to 2017/2018
The newly-crowned champions unequivocally deny the allegations.
“I will stay next season,” Guardiola told reporters ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Brighton.
“I will stay. 100 breaches from the Premier League against us, don’t worry, we will be there,” he said.
There are speculations that the process could go on for years, but Guardiola wants a decision to be made quickly “for the benefit of everyone”
