ODUMOSU DENIES APPOINTMENT AS EFCC CHAIRMAN

Former Commissioner of Police, Rt AIG Hakeem Oodumosu, has said news that he was appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is not true.

The news broke on Tuesday, stating that Odumosu replaced suspended EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa,

However, according to Odumosu, the news must have emanated from mischief makers and should be ignored.

He said,“Good Morning everyone, I have been inundated with so many calls and messages between yesterday and today on a purported “EFCC Appointment”., I just want to use this opportunity to debunk this information and say it’s totally UNTRUE
