The Leadership of the Kwara State Chapter of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria , RATTAWU has called on the Kwara State Government to Prioritize Media Workers in it's Palliative Policy as it is done to health workers and other essential workers in the state.

Kwara RATTAWU in a closed door meeting with the State Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Establishment and Training, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed, appealed to the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to approve full implementation of weigh-in allowances for workers in the state owned media houses and art sector in accordance with thirty thousand naira minimum wage.
