The Kwara State chapter of the Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) has rejoiced with Mr Tajudeen Kayode Aremu and Mr Razaq Ayobami Akanbi over their appointments as the General Managers of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara and Kwara State Television Authority respectively.
According to the statement jointly singed by the State Coordinator and Secretary, Alhaji Yusuf AbdulRazaq Laaro, Mallam Ahmad Ajiboye described their appointments as round pegs in the round holes, adding that the duo would use their wealth of experiences in moving the establishments forward.
The group further pointed out that the duo appointments were well-deserved, saying their trajectory in the media profession earned them the appointments and maintained that the appointments are call to greater services to the state.
The statement therefore, advised the duo to use their various appointments to project Islam in good light and shun every act capable of tarnishing the image of their religion.
The group also prayed Allah to guide and guard the duo in piloting the affairs of the media establishments to the promiseland.
